About Nancy

As a contemporary abstract painter, Nancy Reyner creates exotic versions of heaven, using gold leaf and acrylic. She is best known for inventing unusual acrylic techniques, in particular her method of creating clouds and ocean waves.

A professional artist for over 30 years, she received her BFA from Rhode Island School of Design and MFA from Columbia University. Nancy authored four top-selling painting books with Penguin Books, and appeared on television for HGTV’s “That’s Clever”.

She has extensive training as a Certified Working Artist for Golden Artist Colors, with expertise in a variety of mediums, including oil, acrylic, watercolor, and mixed media. She currently lives in the famed artistic town of Santa Fe, NM.
